Catster Concept & Atmosphere
Catster opened as a concept of shelter for cats whose owner couldn’t take care anymore. Catster will help them find a new home. Since 2016, more than 1,000 cats have been adopted, and the number continues to grow every day. It’s a big success for the Catster team.
Reception area
Catster has 3 floors in the same building. On the first floor, the celebrity cats welcome visitors at the front of the reception area where you’ll have to pay 100 baht to enter the café. That also allows you to get free snacks and soft drinks… all you can eat!
On the first floor, there is a shopping counter called “Pet Selected” where many different products are available, such as cat food, cat toys, T-shirts and accessories sold at reasonable prices.
Massage area and the living area
The second floor is divided into 2 sections, the massage area and the living area with a long table and a snack bar with soft drinks. If you would like to get a massage, you should consider booking in advance. The price for a foot massage is 250 baht and 350 baht for a shoulder massage.
The shelter and playground area
The third floor, also called the shelter area, is my favourite floor. There are more than 10 cats in a big room, and you can enjoy playing with them as long as you want. People wishing to adopt a cat often spend all day in this room, until they can decide which one to pick.
Most of the time, they will select the one that keeps coming or keeps making eye contact with them! Sometimes, I imagine that the cats might think “Look at me human… look at me… take me home, yes! you are so easy to hypnotize.”
Catster by Kingdom of Tigers gives an excellent opportunity for both visitors and cats to find each other. If you are a cat lover and you are looking for a new fluffy friend, this place is just right for you. Let’s adopt one cat or more, your life will never be the same!
